It’s quite odd to be at the last few days of October but not hear Christmas songs playing everywhere just yet. For Filipinos, this is almost sacrilegious because the Christmas season here starts as soon as the -ber months kick in on the first of September.
However, it’s understandable that it can be pretty difficult to be in the mood for the holidays when we’ve spent most of the year on quarantine. Plus, the new normal dictates a new way of celebration. But don’t fret – if one thing is for certain, it’s that love will prevail in these trying times. After all, isn’t that what the holidays are about?

Reposted from @landersph Thank you so much @justsarahgph and @matteog, for a beautiful show tonight and for always being there for Landers. As you are tagged, it’s now your turn to thank as many family and friends as you can for the next 7 days. Share a photo together and let them know why they are part of your #100Blessings. Join the gratitude movement for a kinder and more loving community. #MatteoGuidicelli – #regrann
If there’s anyone who can get people in the mood to celebrate, it’s definitely Sarah Geronimo. She’s not just known for belting out tunes that make us sing and dance with her with no fail, but she’s also one of the celebrities who has always been known to have a heart of gold. This holiday season, she shares it with all of us the way she knows how – with music.
Sarah G. works with Coke Studio, to remind everyone that all hope is not lost. Christmas is not about all the expensive gifts or flashy trips, but it’s about reminding one another of our love – that we will always be there for our loved ones.
Let her voice bring you into the holiday mood by tuning in this Saturday, October 24, 4PM on the Coke Studio PH Youtube channel.
