Despite the fame, Nadine always makes time to support the causes she is very passionate about such as mental health awareness, beating plastic pollution, women empowerment, and LGBTQ+ rights.

In celebration of World Mental Health Day two years ago, she launched the campaign, #IAmLustrous, where celebrities, including herself, shares their stories of struggle.

Chief Creative Designer for Lustrous, Nadine, opens up about her personal experiences with anxiety and dives deep into her own struggles with depression. Hear her story. #IAmLustrousHearHerStory

The actress also joined the Metro Manila Pride Parade as they marched for equality last year and privately donated an undisclosed amount for the said event under the name “Alexis Lustre.”

Last February, she was also one of the volunteers during the cleanup of the Manila Bay, a monthly initiative by a non-profit organization called Planet CORA.

As if we ran out of reasons to stan harder, Nadine silently donated personal protective equipment (PPEs), acrylic boxes, and meals to the frontliners at Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital (one of the designated COVID-19 referral centers) as revealed in a Facebook post by her aunt.

We appreciate the hard work and services to our communities, may this humble gesture become helpful to the hospital…

Apart from this, Nadine has been selling her pre-loved items, in which part of the proceeds will be donated to organizations leading the fight against COVID-19.

She is also encouraging her followers to help out through these Instagram stories.

You are an inspiration, Nadine ♡♡♡!
