Millennial Multi-hyphenate Nadine Lustre is one of the most sought artists in the industry and it is not surprising anymore given how talented she is.
From the nine-year old girl helping her family by hosting a kiddie show and entering auditions to a confident and empowered woman who has achieved a lot and uses her influence to inspire others, Nadine has really come a long way.
After “Diary ng Panget,” projects are non-stop for the Multimedia Princess – movies, teleseryes, singles, concert tours, magazine covers and many more.
She is currently busy with two films, “Ulan” and “Indak.” “Ulan” is a coming-of-age film with “Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story” director Irene Villamor while “Indak” is a dance-musical with her close friend Sam Concepcion.
But success did not happen in an instant for Nadine. She experienced a lot of rejections. She has a lot of insecurities. She received a lot of bashing from other people, yet she doesn’t let all of those define her.
Actress, singer, dancer, director, entrepreneur, Chief Creative Designer, and a girlfriend to Multimedia Prince James Reid, people often think she’s got everything.
“No one has everything. Can you imagine living a life where you have everything? I think it’s kinda sad, to be honest, because there is no challenge, there’s no excitement,” Nadine said in an exclusive interview with beautybeat.ph.
In the recent campaign of her own makeup line in collaboration with an Australian cosmetics brand, 12 inspiring stories of individuals were shared online, aiming to promote mental health awareness, self-love, and women empowerment.
As a matter of fact, Nadine herself, shared how she struggles and deals with anxiety and depression.
“Sometimes, I can’t pinpoint what they are. But most of the time, I can – which is a good thing because at least I know where it’s coming from. I have a lot of good people around me helping me out in times like these, so I feel that I am not alone.
With the help of her loved ones and with the realization that it’s okay not to be okay, Nadine learned to open up and cope with anxiety and depression. Watch this!
