Celebrating my 21st anniversary in the industry this year, was truly memorable. 3 films. 3 different genres and 3 strong and empowered female leads.. somehow managed to fit in a 21st Anniversary concert, attend film festivals, Showtime Monday to Saturday, oh and run the London Marathon for the benefit of UNICEF Philippines. Don’t know how I quite did it, but it happened. 😂 THANK YOU to all my fans and followers who supported my crazy silverscreen journey this year. I am truly grateful for the love you have given me. It has gotten me even more inspired for some awesome movie making in 2019! Thank you to my directors @ayrin @erikmatti @yamlaranas for giving me Aya, Nina Manigan and Leana and to my @viva_films family for allowing me to take on these sublime films! ❤️ #SIDandAYAnotalovestory #buybustmovie #aurorathemovie

She just celebrated her 21st year in the industry the best way possible with three films in different genres, an anniversary concert, “It’s Showtime” from Mondays to Saturdays, London marathon, film festivals abroad, opening of her makeup line’s flagship store, and a month-long vacation with husband Erwan Heussaff in Africa.

She opened the first “blk Cosmetics” store in Trinoma which is a “cinema-inspired” pink and black booth last March 2018.

In April, she finished her second major marathon in London, United Kingdom for the benefit of UNICEF – Philippines.

And I did it! Finished my Second World Major Marathon 🥇. Time – 5:12. The @londonmarathon was my hardest race. The hardest to get into and the hardest for me to finish. Don’t get me wrong, the route is much easier than NYC but I did not expect the unusual London heat. The moment I hit 20km at 12:30pm. I had a hard time breathing, felt dehydrated, the sun was beaming intensely and at one point I wanted to give up (I know. So dramatic) but I knew I was running this for a cause. Running with a mission – For the FILIPINO YOUTH @unicefphils . As painful as it was, it helped me power through those 42 kilometres! I’d like to thank the Filipino Community here in London that were on the side lines cheering me on. You don’t know how much it helped me. Thank you. I’ve read all your posts and I’m so touched by your kind words. Thank you so much! Mistakes and new learnings were made on this run but I’m just happy that I crossed that finish line. @londonmarathon you were amazing and my first ever toughest run but I’m coming back for you when I’m done with the world majors!! Just you wait. #Londonmarathon #LondonMarathANNEventure 🇬🇧👊🏼🇬🇧

Her “Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story” movie with Dingdong Dantes is a blockbuster hit, receiving praises from critics and viewers for not being a typical romance movie. It was shown in cinemas in May.

“BuyBust,” which you can now watch on Netflix, is a major success even on the global scene. It had its world premiere at the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF) in June and released in the Philippines in August.

Anne’s 21st anniversary concert called “AnneKulit: Promise, Last Na’To” for the same month is jam-packed. She collaborated with huge stars like Regine Velasquez, Sarah Geronimo, James Reid, Aegis, and Ex Battalion.

After her hectic schedule for almost the whole of 2018, she had a very much-deserved month-long vacation with Erwan, touring the beauty of Africa for their honeymoon.
