‘It’s Showtime’ co-hosts and real-life close friends Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis became emotional at the ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ segment while interviewing a mom from Visayas.
The contestant was talking about how she sacrificed her own dreams for her child which led Anne into saying, “When I hear stories like this, it makes me even more excited to be a mom.”
Anne and husband Erwan Heussaff are currently in Africa for their ‘long overdue honeymoon.’ It will also be in time as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

Off we go. Celebrating our 1st anniversary and long overdue honeymoon in Africa. This is why I created and matched these two countries together for a special set of our #blktravels lippies. These 2 shades are the colors I wore on my wedding day. Ceremony and reception ♥️ Can't believe it's almost been a year! See you in a month Philippines ✈ @blkcosmeticsph #ERWANNEderlust #ERWANNEderlustAFRICA
Vice in return said a very heartfelt message to Anne that made her emotional.
“It won’t be such a big surprise na makita ka namin kung gaano ka kagaling na nanay. You don’t have to be a perfect woman to be a perfect mother. All you have to do is have a beautiful heart and that is enough,” Vice told Anne.
The two have been friends for so long. The viewers always wait for their funny banters on ‘It’s Showtime.’
“I have seen you. Ang dami mong struggles in the past. Maganda ka dati, pero sa mga pinagdaanan mo, lalong gumanda ang kaluluwa mo. Your kid, I am very sure, will be very proud of you. You will be such a perfect mother,” Vice added.
Anne also shared that they’ve recently talked about Vice’s fear of growing old alone.
“When we all grow old together, kami ni Erwan, we will always be here for you,” she said. “We can take you in, we will take care of you. Isa ka na rin sa magiging anak namin, eventually, when that time comes,” Anne continued.
