Very rare in Filipino films nowadays, there will be an upcoming movie to watch out for next year!

For the very first time, Multimedia Princess Nadine Lustre and All-Around Heartthrob Sam Concepcion will join forces to give us a dance musical film called ‘Indak.’

Yesterday, it was announced that the two close friends will be together in a movie during Indak’s story conference.

Nadine and Sam have worked in small projects before but this is the first time that they will be working on a major one.

According to its director Paul Basinillo, it will be like ‘Step Up’ and ‘La La Land’ combined in one film.

The story will revolve on an island girl (Nadine) who will be discovered by a city boy (Sam) because of a viral video, eventually asking her to be part of their dance group ‘Indak Pilipinas.’

Despite being nervous on their first film together, Nadine and Sam said that they are very much excited and committed to effectively play their roles.

As a matter of fact, they themselves requested to have intense dance training in preparation for the movie.

“We’ll be training. We requested for training kasi medyo matagal, especially me, tagal na rin po kasi akong hindi sumasayaw,” Nadine stated.

Nadine was a former member of a sing-and-dance girl group called ‘Pop Girls’ back in 2009. She’s been performing for a long time and had been in several concert tours.

“And the dancing is not going to be regular dancing kasi we’re suppose to be a competition level group so we’ll do that competition training just like dancing. That what we aim to do,”
Sam revealed.

Sam won the singing competition ‘Little Big Star’ in 2006. He’s known for being an all-around actor and performer.
