Marvel Comics artist Mico Suayan just revealed that Nadine is the inspiration behind the exclusive cover of the first Filipino Marvel superhero, “Wave.”
On his Facebook, Mico posted a side-by-side photo of Nadine and the illustration of “Wave” he created with Rain Beredo. The caption says, “A little trivia. I based my rendition of Wave to Nadine Lustre.”

Nadine just recently starred in the critically acclaimed movie, “Ulan,” which depicted a beautiful story of magic realism. She will also be starring in the dance musical film “Indak” with Sam Concepcion. The Multimedia Princess has done almost every genre, and a superhero film like “Wave” could be the only thing missing. The Millennial Multi-hyphenate was recently named as the “Best Performer of the Year” by the Young Critics Circle Film-Desk. She is also one of the nominees on the “Best Actress” category of FAMAS. Both are for her portrayal of “Joanne” in “Never Not Love You.”
