Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion are starring in a much-awaited dance musical movie entitled “Indak,” and they are already a few days into taping for it!
The film is directed by director Paul Basinillo, and it is inspired by the hit Hollywood movies “La La Land” and “Step Up,” so a lot of competitive level dance routines are to be expected.
“Indak” is about an island girl (Nadine) whose dance video becomes viral. A city boy (Sam) discovers her video and invites her to be a part of the dance group called Indak Pilipinas. The duo, together with the rest of the group, will then compete against other teams from different parts of the world.
After filming in Manila, Sam and Nadine recently traveled to Cebu to shoot some of the island scenes.
The two stars went aboard a RORO ship on their way to Cebu together with the other cast and crew of “Indak,” and everything seems to be going smoothly with taping for the movie.
Aside from “Indak,” Nadine also has a coming-of-age film entitled “Ulan,” directed by Irene Villamor, and a lot of people are already very excited to see it on the big screen!
Meanwhile, Sam has collaborated with James Reid and Billy Crawford for a big summer show to be held on April 5 at the Araneta Coliseum.
