Anne Curtis did a lot movies in different genres and in the past. If you are one of her avid fans, you have probably seen her do drama, romance, comedy, horror, and recently action.
In this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, Anne will be starring in another horror movie, “Aurora.” It is the story of Leana who will be looking for dead bodies in the sea in exchange for a huge sum of money after the passenger ship, Aurora collides in a rocky part of their island.
So far, this is Anne’s third horror movie, the first one was “Ika-13 Kapitulo” released back in 2000, and “Wag Kang Lilingon,” in 2006.
After more than a decade, how does Anne feel in doing another horror flick? This she answered during “Aurora’s” media conference last Friday, December 7.
“I love horror films. I love ‘Sixth Sense.’ I love ‘The Others.’ Ganun yung mga bet ko,” she stated.
“And it’s actually so funny because when we were shooting the film, tinatanong ko kay Direk, sabi ko, di pa yung character ko, di pa talaga siya sumisigaw ng ‘Ahh!’.
“Sabi niya, ‘hindi tayo ganun. Kakaibang experience ang ibibigay natin sa lahat ng manonood ng ‘Aurora.’ So this is really something different from the other horror films that I’ve done. It’s all about that feeling that you get when you’re watching a horror film.”
Are you excited to see this? Watch Aurora this coming Christmas day, December 25 in cinemas near you. Directed by, Yam Laranas.
