Multimedia Sweetheart Anne Curtis just came from a month-long honeymoon with husband, food vlogger, and restaurateur Erwan Heussaff in Africa, but she’s back to work to promote her new thriller film “Aurora.”

After her certified blockbuster films “Buy Bust” and “Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story,” Anne will take on a very different role as “Leana” in “Aurora.”

This is the third time that Anne will star in a horror film. The first two were “Ika-13 Kapitulo” in 2000 and “Wag Kang Lilingon” in 2006. This is also Anne’s comeback at the Metro Manila Film Festival after her critically acclaimed movie “Baler” with Jericho Rosales in 2008.

During the grand press conference of “Aurora” at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Anne and Pinoy Hollywood Director Yam Laranas shared bits about the movie and how excited they are to show the Filipinos how amazing this film is.

When Anne was asked if she’s keeping her husband updated with the exciting scenes she did in “Aurora,” she said that she wanted to see his reaction while watching the film for the first time, but she later on revealed that he did love the trailer.

“From the color grading, inggit na inggit siya sa color grading ni Direk Yam. The shots, the music, the editing, he’s very very excited about this film, so for me, that’s always a good sign kasi very nitpicking ‘yung asawa ko pagdating sa films. So he’s very excited so that makes me very happy as well,” she shared.

“Lalagyan namin ng ano ‘Rated PG. Erwan approved,’ Direk Yam joked.

After the ship, Aurora, sunk near their island, everybody knows that their hometown is doomed. But after Leana made a deal with the families of the missing passengers, she and her 8-year old sister, Rita, choose to stay in the island and keep their hotel open in case any of the dead bodies will be washed ashore. However, as days go by, ghosts begin to bother and haunt their seemingly normal life in the island.
