After a very eventful 2018, Anne started this year with another movie, “Just A Stranger,” with Edu Manzano and Marco Gumabao, and an appointment from UNICEF.

Last year, she did a total of three blockbuster movies with different genres, namely “Buy Bust” (action), “Sid & Aya” (drama), and “Aurora” (thriller).

On top of all that, her “AnneKulit: Promise, Last Na ‘To” concert at the Araneta Coliseum became a huge success.

The first pop-up store of her BLK Cosmetics opened last year. She even threw a back to the 90’s themed first anniversary celebration for her makeup line.

Anne was also chosen as one of the Asian Stars Up Next of 2018 at the International Film Festival & Awards Macao.

As if all of those were not enough, she also finished her second world major marathon in London for a cause in collaboration of UNICEF – Philippines.

The smile you make when you get to the home stretch. All the pain, cramps, crazy thoughts, the shortness of breath disappear. You realize YOU’VE DONE IT. The feeling of euphoria rushes through your body and the smile cannot be erased off of your face. 😃 I let the @unicefphils flag fly high and proud knowing that all the pain, tears and each of the 42 kilometers were worth it. THE CHILDREN OF THE PHILIPPINES ARE WORTH IT. I will never tire of doing what I can – whether a big or small gesture – to help make this world a better place for children. Thank you to everyone that donated! As of today, we have raised 381,707 and still counting on my simply giving page!!! I’ve read all the comments and I’m truly so grateful. From the bottom of my heart, a humongous hug and kiss to everyone around the world that donated. As promised, I shall match the final amount. All funds raised will go towards UNICEF’S response for Marawi Children 💙🇵🇭💙 Again, THANK YOU! #LondonMarathon #LondonMarathANNEventure

Recently, Anne shared her passion for helping the youth as she accepts her appointment as UNICEF’S newest National Goodwill Ambassador.

“With this appointment, I will continue to learn and to properly educate myself so that I can use my voice and my platform together with my UNICEF family to give a brighter future for the Filipino children,” she said.
