Kapamilya star, Anne Curtis will be starring in her next big role as Leana in the upcoming movie, “Aurora.”
It is one of the official entries to the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (2018). It will be showing in cinemas on Christmas Day.
It is about ship Aurora which crashed in the rocky coast of an island where Leana and her family are living. It killed over a thousand people and our protagonist will be one of the few who will search for the dead bodies in exchange for a monetary reward.
While this movie is set in an island, some scenes would require Anne’s character to swim in the ocean.
However, the director, Yam Laranas shared in an interview with PEP that he had prepared for Anne’s stunt double for those particular scenes yet she refused.
He also described her as “walang takot.”
“Meron sigurong double, stand-in lang. Pero si Anne, ayaw magpa-double.”
He furthered that in Anne’s scenes she had to stay underwater for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
