Best friends forever. Good morning from me and my little Dahlia Amélie 🤍

It has been 8 months since, and fans have been missing the Anne Curtis, who is a mainstay of the noontime show, Showtime. She recently joined her co-hosts through video conferencing to send her love and support to the show. At that time she was in Melbourne, Australia.

Her surprise appearance was met with the question everyone was thinking, but voiced out by Vhong Navarro: “Kailan ka ba babalik?” (When will you return?”)

To which Anne replied, “Malapit na.” (Soon.)

Recently, Erwan Heussaff appeared in a Facebook Live by RX Monster Radio 93.1, detailing the arduous journey their little family have experienced during this pandemic. Erwan says, “It’s kinda like a zombie movie. You don’t really know what’s happening until there’s someone eating your flesh.”

Their family was originally planning to come back to the Philippines three months after Anne gave birth. However, plans have changed when the pandemic got worse. Erwan continued, “I think when April hit, and then the whole world started going into chaos, that’s when we realized, at this point, there’s no reasoning… there would be no logical reasoning behind trying to plan coming home soon.”

Lockdown silver lining.

Erwan said that they have basically been on lockdown there in Australia as well (similar to our ECQ here in the Philippines. Both Anne and Erwan seem to have found a silver lining into all this, as they get to spend so much time with their baby Dahlia, despite still having to work.

Each time I see a precious moment between you and our daughter, my heart is filled with so much love.. to the point of it bringing tears to my eyes (as you have seen the past few months 😭) You are such an amazing father to our Dahlia Amélie. From early morning smiles, nappy changes, burping sessions, cheeky monster faces and sarap cuddles – being a father has come so naturally to you. We are so lucky to have you in our lives. And because it is Father’s Day, I’ll finally concede 😋.. our little girl is a little Erwanita. She looks so much like her papa…the cutest little bb girl… I guess lihi is real after all. Je t’aime Mon amour. Happy 1st Father’s Day. @erwan

The Fat Kid Inside, Erwan said, “It’s been intense, but like I said in the beginning, when you’re fully focused on a human being, she absolutely takes over your whole life.” He also mentioned that while the last 8 months have been long, it almost only feels like a three-week stint.

“For me the only big momentous event we’ve had is Dahlia in March,” says Erwan.

And while we don’t know when the beautiful family coming back to the Philippines yet, we can still follow their journey on social media.
